Perfect stay, as always. Extremely convenient and relaxing hotel, amazing breakfast and free Wi-Fi. Pretty friendly and amiable staff with knowledge of the place. Exceptionally comfortable bed and well-appointed and reasonably large room. Nice bathrooms with bathtubs. The favourable and stunning location for the price, close enough to the train station and very good choice at breakfast, the Matterhorn train terminal, grocery stores and restaurants and Coop supermarket. 15 minutes walk to Schalisee.

Very GOOD experience there. Charming hotel, fantastic breakfast, exceptional value. Peaceful area, central location not far from Switzerland for the first time, and train station direct to Zermatt. Everything in this relaxing hotel was fine, we liked it. The location was best possible, just off still quiet, Zermatt on a quick train, and Tasch rather than Zarmatt which is always pack and easily accessible. The room was great value with balcony and the staff so caring.

Quiet hotel overlooking mountain, we had a perfectly pleasant experience here. The personnel were exceptionally friendly and efficient and gave us loads of advice. The position was favourable and incredible, very close to a railroad station. It was very close to Tasch downtown.

This hotel is a gem in the Alps, offering reasonable prices and renovated rooms. The views of the mountains from the windows are phenomenal, allowing guests to truly appreciate the beauty of the surrounding area. The location is also very convenient, right across from the train station, making it easy to get to Zermatt. The staff is friendly and accommodating, going above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. Additionally, the breakfast provided is traditional Swiss, with a variety of delicious options to choose from.

we had to check out early to for our days plans, we tried to leave at 6.15 only to find we were locked in. we eventually found a way out thru the staff areas in the basement in the dark. maybe we were supposed to know were were locked in for the nite ?!!? we consider this to be a MAJOR ISSUE. what if a fire broke out how would one escape ? there were no fire exits, it was a building with a LOT of wood. we could NOT recommend this hotel to anyone on this basis. if it had fire exits we would

Excellent value for money - right next to Täsch station and just a ten minute train ride to Zermatt.

One of the best things about this hotel is its location right next to the Täsch train station. As mentioned in one of the reviews, it's just opposite the shuttle train terminal for Zermatt. This makes it so convenient for travelers, especially after a long journey. Another positive aspect is the friendly and caring hotel personnel. The staff goes out of their way to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. And lastly, the rooms in this hotel offer a nice view, some even have balconies. It's always a pleasure waking up to such a beautiful sight.

Even if the hotel lives off its proximity to Zermatt, and has a steady flow of tourists who would really prefer to be staying there, it does not cut corners. Good size bedrooms, clean, a copious breakfast buffet, and an intimate restaurant serving good evening meals.
